Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and remote supervision systems for power plants

SysView is SCADA-type software developed by the Institute of Power Engineering, designed for monitoring and remotely controlling automation systems in electric power transmission and distribution networks. The SysView package provides all basic SCADA functions such as: communication with subsystems, object data processing, data retransmission, advanced HMI interface with a graphical editor, alerts, event log and data archiving as well as access control.

Historical data can be displayed in charts, used for creating reports and exported to Excel/SQLite files. Historical data can be displayed in charts, used for creating reports and exported to Excel/SQLite files.

The SysView software implements the basic communication protocols used in the power industry, including: MODBUS, IEC 61870-5-101/104, DNP3.0.

The SysView package consists of the following modules:

  • Object data server – provides the ability to interconnect several servers and constitutes a dedicated solution for secure connection of servers operating in the technological network (OT) and IT network that does not require sharing network resources for communication with terminals.
  • Server utility software – enables creating and configuring server data.
  • Service terminal – enables presentation of object data in a form of a table.
  • Operator's terminal – a network-based, multi-user graphical interface.

 

On the basis of the SysView software, it is possible to create solutions tailored to the requirements of specialised power automation.
